AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.96B-9
AND SECTION 3.95A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING
TO THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR STRAWBERRY HILL
PLAZA
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law considered the question
of granting a parking variation of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Elk Grove Village so as to exclude the basement square
foot area in the calculations for required parking space for
certain property located at 633 Meacham Road and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the Pre-:ident and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village Lfter having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient
hardship may exist so as to warrant and justify the granting
of said variation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there is hereby granted a variation of
Section 3.96E-9 (Parking Requirements for Restaurants) and Section
3.95A (Units of Measurement) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village thereby excluding the basement square foot area in the
calculations for required parking space for property located
at 633 Meacham Road and legally described as follows:
Lot 1 of Lot 18 in Roundtree Commons, a subdivision
in Section 25, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
