AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION
3.54B OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT
THE INSTALLATION OF SILOS IN THE SIDE YARD
OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1350 ARTHUR AVENUE
(ROPAR CORPORATION)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held accord-
ing to law considered the question of granting a variation of
Section 3.54B of the Zoning Ordinance to American National Bank
and Trust Company of Chicago as Trustee under Trust No. 32952
and Ropak Corporation to permit the installation of silos in
the required side yard area on property located at 1350 Arthur
Avenue and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient
hardship exists so as to warrant and justify the granting of
said variation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.54B (Uses of Yards for Structures) of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village to the American National Bank and Trust Company
of Chicago as Trustee under Trust No. 32952 and Ropak Corporation
to permit the installation of silos within the six-foot side
yard on property located at 1350 Arthur Lane and legally described
as follows:
Lot 314 in Centex Industrial Park, Unit 190, being
a subdivision in the south half of Section 34, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
