AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (McLENNAN)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public hearing duly called and held according to
law considered the question of rezoning certain property legally
described hereinafter from an I-1 and a B-3 combined designation
to B-3 as to a part and I-1 ag to a part; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the findings and
recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that said property
be rezoned as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the 12.5 acre parcel of property located
beween Touhy Avenue and Higgins Road and approximately 276 feet
east of Elmhurst Road be and the same is hereby rezoned as follows:
a. That the property legally described on Exhibit
1-A attached hereto and incorporated herein be and the
same is hereby rezoned from I-1 and B-3 to B-3 Business
District.
b. That the property legally described on Exhibit
1-B attached hereto and incorporated herein be and the
same is hereby rezoned from I-1 and B-3 to I-1 Industrial.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to amend the official zoning map of the Village to reflect the
rezoning as set forth herein.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.

The westerly 480 feet of the following described Tract:
That part of the West 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 41 Nortn, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying North of the center line of Higgins Road
(except the West 276.25 feet tnereof) and (except the Easterly
5U.0 feet thereof) and (except that part described as follows:
Beginning at the point ofR;tersection of the North Line of the
N.W. 1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 d 'said Section 36 with the West Line
of the Easterly 50 feet of said West 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 of
Section 36; thence South along said West Line of the Easterly
50 feet of said West 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 36, a
distance of 49.63 feet to a point; thence West in a Straight
Line a distance of 469.97 feet to a point distant 5U.0 feet
South, measured at rignt angles from said North Line of the
West 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 of said Section 36; thence South a
distance of 6.0 feet to a point, distant 56.0 feet South,
measured at right angles from said North Line of the West 1/2
of the N.W. 1/4 of said Section 36; thence West in a Straight
Line a distance of 325.0 feet to a point of curveature; thence
Northwesterly along a curved line concave to the Northeast and
having a radius of 1820.35 feet, a distance of 289.bl feet to a
point in the South Line of Touhy Ave. as the same is now
located and Established; thence West along said South line of
Touhy Ave., a distance of 19.44 feet to a point in the East
Line of the West 176.25 feet as aforesaid; thence North along
