AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1820 TO PROVIDE A DATE
CERTAIN FOR THE CONTRACT PURCHASER TO PAY CERTAIN FEES TO
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1820 (THE DOMINIUM GROUP)
WHEREAS, on July 9, 1986 the President and Board of Trustees voted to
annex certain property into the Village of Elk Grove Village by adopting
Annexation Ordinance No. 1820; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions were incorporated into Ordinance 1820
requiring the Owner to make payment to the Village (of Elk Grove Village)
an amount of 10% of the purchase price of the property in lieu of the 10%
land donation requirement of the Village; and payment to the Village
Municipal Purpose Fund an amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-five
($3,525.00) Dollars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1820 duly passed and approved on the
9th day of July, 1986, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 7 - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law, provided the Owner pays to the Village
the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-five
($3,525.00) for the Municipal Purpose Fund on or before
November 14, 1986 and an amount of 10% of the purchase
price of the property in lieu of the 10% land donation,
which is due upon closing on the property but in no event
shall payment be later than May 1, 1987, pursuant to the
Ordinances of the Village for the annexation of property.
Should the owner fail to pay the above fees by the dates
certain then the Special Use granted by Ordinance No. 1821
shall be deemed null and void.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
