HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1871 - 2/10/1987 - ZONING VARIATION/749 CARDINALORDINANCE NO. 1871 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIREPLACE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 749 CARDINAL LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS (LAUBE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to required sideyards in.order to permit the construction of a fireplace one foot five inches (1'5") into said required sideyard on property located at 749 Cardinal Lane, and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1'of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village as it pertains to required sideyards, to permit the construction of a fireplace one foot five inches (11511) into the required sideyard on property located at 749 Cardinal Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 205 in Stapes Subdivision, being a Subdi- vision of part of the Northeast 4 of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: i ATTEST: Patricia S.
