AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22A.507 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO USER RATES FOR
WASTE WATER FACILITIES
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 22A.507 - Basic User Rate - of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
22A.507 Basic user rate: There shall be and
there is hereby established a basic
user rate for the use of and for
service supplied by the waste water
facilities of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, and where applicable
the Village of Bensenville. A basic
user rate of $.35 per 1,000 gallons
shall be applied to all users of the
Elk Grove Village waste water facili-
ties. All users of the Village of
Bensenville waste water facilities
shall pay such rate as established
from time to time by the Village of
Bensenville, which rate may include
a basic user rate, a debt service
charge and/or a surcharge rate.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
