AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.119 -
BURNING LEAVES AND RUBBISH - OF CHAPTER 11 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 11.119 - BURNING LEAVES AND RUBBISH -
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
11.119 Burning Leaves and Rubbish.) It shall be unlawful
for any person, firm or corporation to burn any leaves,
paper, rubbish or other substances upon any private
property or upon any public streets, sidewalks or
other public areas in the Village.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not less
than TWENTY-FIVE ($25.00) Dollars nor more than FIVE HUNDRED
($500.00) Dollars for each offense; and a separate offense shall
be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation
occurs or continues.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
