AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC. 3.54
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A DECK IN PORTIONS OF THE RESTRICTED SIDE AND REAR
YARD AREAS OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1320 BERKENSHIRE LANE,
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, (HOLM)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public
meeting duly called and held considered the question of
granting a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village to permit the construction of a deck in the
required side and rear yards of property located at 1320
Berkenshire Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, notwithstanding the findings and recommenda-
tions of said Zoning Board of Appeals, the Petitioner has
made certain assurances on record to the President and Board
of Trustees with respect to abating any nuisances which
may occur to neighboring properties as a result of the granting
of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a two (2') foot
side yard variation and a twelve and one-half (12'2') foot
rear yard variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit the construction
of a deck on property located at 1320 Berkenshire Lane,
Elk Grove Village, which property is legally described as
follows:
Lot 4165 in Elk Grove Village, Section 14,
being a subdivision in the South half of
Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof recorded October 21,
1965 as Document No. 19625181 in Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
