AN ORDINANCE DELETING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 6, SECTIONS
6.201 THRU 6.208 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WIIEREAS, the complexities of Fire Protection for the Village
of Elk Grove Village require a full time and ready fire fighting
force; and,
WIiEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has staffed the
Fire Department with full time positions to provide Fire Protection
Services; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest, safety and welfare of
the Paid On Call members of the Fire Department not to respond on
emergency calls;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That effective April 1, 1986, the following Paid
On Call members of the Fire Department are hereby retired:
F/F Richard C. Heller, Jr.
F/F Paul C. Mack
F/F Paul W. Petzold
F/F George J. Rezny
Lt. William J. Schauer
Lt. Ralph W. Schnell
F/F Louis F. Tosto
Engineer Michael A. Tosto, Sr.
Section 2: That Article II of Chapter 6 of The Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the same is
hereby amended by deleting Sections 6.201 through 6.208 as it
relates to the Paid On Call Fire Department.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval accordance to law.
