AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION SECTION 3.55, C-2
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE.OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
FIVE (5) FEET INTO THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD
(UNITED STATES DEVELOPMENT CORP.)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting duly called and held
according to law, considered the question of granting a variation
of Section 3.55, C-2 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the parking
of vehicles five (5) feet into the required front yard for property
located at 2420 Elmhurst Road and legally described hereinafter;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient
hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.55, C-2 of the Zoning Ordinance to the United States Development
Corp. and the Bank of Waukegan, as Trustee under Trust No. 1728,
to permit the parking of vehicles five (5) feet into the required
front yard on property located at 2420 Elmhurst Road and legally
described as follows:
LOT 8 IN MELVIN'S SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE NORTH
1/2 OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTH EAST 1/4 OF SECTION
2, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED JANUARY 16, 1975 AS DOCUMENT R75-02474,
IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
