AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4-A, POSITION CLASSIFICATION
AND SALARY PLAN, ARTICLE 4A.103 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home
Rule Municipality as authorized and set forth in the
Constitution of the State of Illinois and as such,
authorized tc enact certain legislation pertaining to
its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Cook and Du Page Counties, Illinois, in exercise of its
Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Chapter 4-A entitled "Position
Classification and Salary Plan" Article 4A.103 be and
is hereby amended to include the following:
EXHIBIT "B"
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
Fire Department Feb. 11, 1986 Delete Add April 23, 1986
Fire Lieutenants 18 2 20
Firefighters 61 2 59
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
