HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1797 - 4/22/1986 - ZONING VARIATION/1210 ROBINORDINANCE NO. 1797 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC. 3.54 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT RELATES TO STRUCTURES IN ANY REAR YARD AREA TO PERMIT THE EXISTANCE OF A DECK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1210 ROBIN DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (HEZINGER) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existance of a deck in the rear yard area of property located at 1210 Robin Drive, and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the negative findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals and after further reviewing the recommendation of the Judiciary, Planning and Zoning Committee of the Village Board find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it relates to structures in any rear yard to permit the existance of a deck which infringes thirteen (13') feet into the required twenty (201) feet of the rear yard on property located at 1210 Robin Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 181 in Parkview Heights Subdivision, being a Subdivision in the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded April 12, 1978, as Document 24399728 and Certificate of Correction recorded January 2, 1979, as Document Number 24784941, and recorded May 7, 1979, as Document Number 24949007, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2 APPROVED: Charles J.
