AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC. 3.52
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS IT RELATES TO FRONT YARD REGULATIONS
TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE BEYOND THE
TWENTY-FIVE (25') FOOT BUILDING SETBACK LINE ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1490 HAAR LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MERTENS)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held to consider the question of granting a
variation of Sec. 3.52 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the
construction of a fence beyond the twenty-five (25') foot building
setback line on property located at 1490 Haar Lane, Elk Grove
Village, and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient
hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 3.52
of the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to front yard regulations
for corner and double frontage lots to permit the construction
of a fence beyond the twenty-five (25') foot building setback
line on property located at 1490 Haar Lane, Elk Grove Village,
and legally described as follows:
Lot 1 in Block 3 in Shenandoah Subdivision
being a Subdivision in the South East 4
of South west ; of Section 36, Township
41 North, Range 10, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat
thereof recorded in the Recorder's Office
of Cook County, Illinois on August 31, 1978
as Document No. 24608335, in Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval accordingin to law.
