Recreational Cannabis Sales
The Committee discussed the recommendation from the JPZ Committee to permit the sale of
cannabis in the Village. Proposed regulations for the sale of cannabis in the Village include
guidelines related to security and operations, as well as limiting permitted locations to
commercial areas adjacent to industrial areas.
Following a lengthy discussion, the Committee voted 5-1 (Czarnik, Lissner, Schmidt, Prochno,
Franke AYES; Feichter NAY) to allow the sale of cannabis in the Village, in commercial areas
in the Village's Business Park.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
