AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND REZOCTI"C CEP.TAIN
PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
(TRAMMEL, CROW)
WHEREAS, a written Petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the LaSalle National
Bank as Trustee under Trust Number 109018 dated October 11,
1984 and Mark Street II Limited Partnership, a Texas Limited
Partnership, the owners of the hereinafter land and territory,
said Petition being for Annexation to the Village of Elk Grove
Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village
of Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon;
and
WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of the Illinois Revised
Statutes concerning Annexation and Notices relating thereto
have been complied with; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law considered the conditions of the Annexation Agreement and
the rezoning of the annexed property from I-1 Industrial to
I-2 Industrial; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village has conducted a public hearing with respect
to an Annexation Agreement for the subject property and have
approved said Annexation Agreement pursuant to Resolution No.
37-86 ; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trust es Gf -'he `v' huge
of Elk Grove Village do further find and believe it to
the best interest of the Village that said land and territory
be annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village and zoned as
a I-2 Industrial use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory legally described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein, which
territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
and is not within the limits of any municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That said property as annexed shall be subject
to the Annexation Agreement dated May 27 , 1986 by
and between the owners and the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: That said property, shall, upon annexation,
be zoned I-2 Industrial so that hereafter said territory shall
be included with the boundary lines and limits of said Village
of Elk Grove Village as is by law in such cases made and provided.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy

of this Ordinance together with an accurate Plat of Annexation
of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds and is further
directed to amend the zoning map of the Village in accordance
with the provisions hereof and to file such Notice of Annexation
as is required by law.
Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Lot 11, except that part of said Lot 11 lying South of
the Westerly extension of the Northerly line of 60.00
feet wide Mark Street East of and adjoining the East
line of said Lot 11, said Westerly extension of the
Northerly line of 60.00 feet wide Mark Street, being
a line drawn from a point on the East line of said Lot
11, 819.43 feet, as measured along said East line, North
of the intersection of said East line of Lot 11 with
the East and West Quarter Section line of Section 3,
Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, to a point on the West line of said Lot 11,
819.60 feet, as measured along said West line, North of
the intersection of said West line of Lot 11 with the
East and West Quarter Section line of Section 3, aforesaid,
all in Lawrence—Wooddale Assessment Plat of part of the
West �j of Section 3 and part of the East � of Section
4, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
recorded June 10, 1947 as Document No. 522697, in DuPage
County, Illinois.
