HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1809 - 5/27/1986 - ZONING VARIATION/1822 HAWKORDINANCE NO. 1809 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT RELATES TO STRUCTURES IN ANY REQUIRED SIDE YARD AREA TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIREPLACE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1822 HAWK LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (PURGATORIO)____ WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held accordingly to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it relates to structures in any required side yard area to permit the construction of a fireplace within the 8 -foot required side yard on property located at 1822 Hawk Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to Richard and Melanie PurSatorio to permit the construction of a fireplace two feet into the required side yard area on property located at 1822 Hawk Lane and legally described as follows: Lot 328 in Stapes Subdivision being a Subdivi- sion of part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 27th day of May , 1986. APPROVED this 27th day of May 1986.
