HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1757 - 11/12/1985 - ZONING VARIATION/1450 JAMESORDINANCE NO. 1757 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROOM ADDITION FOUR FEET (4') INTO THE REQUIRED REAR YARD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1450 JAMES WAY, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, (CALVELLO) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it relates to structures in a required rear yard for property located at 1450 James Way, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it relates to structures in required rear yards to FRANK AND LESLIE CALVELLO to permit the construction of a room addition which would infringe four feet (4') into the required rear yard on property located at 1450 James Way, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in Block 8 in Elk Grove Village Section 20, being a subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: NAYS: ABSENT: 0 F122z1W Charles J.
