AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1497, APPROVING THE
CONCEPTUAL LAND USE AND ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES
ZONED A-3 COMBINED MULTI -FAMILY RECREATIONAL DISTRCT, BE
AMENDED BY REMOVING THE BARRIER TYPE MEDIAN STRIP ON
UNIVERSITY LANE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1497 duly passed and approved on
the 24th day of November, 1981, be and the same is hereby amended by
amending Exhibit B, Condition No. 4, to read as follows:
CONDITION NO. 4 - That right-of-way designated "University
Lane" at its intersection with Plum Grove
Road, shall be a minimum of three lanes, with
two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane.
The length of the three lanes shall be
determined by the Village Engineer.
Deceleration lanes shall be provided on
the east side of Plum Grove Road, subject
to final engineering and further subject
to County approval based upon County
regulations and requirements in effect at
the time of the construction of University
Lane.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
