AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A 2.5 FOOT VARIATION
OF A TWENTY-FIVE FOOT (25') BUILDING SETBACK
LINE TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is enlarging
the Municipal Building and to that end have engaged architects
to draft necessary floor plans for same; and
WHEREAS, said floor plans require the location of
the addition to be within 2.5 feet of the twenty-five foot
(25') building setback line along Wellington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals have been advised
of the Village's need for a variation and have expressed
no objection thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a 2.5 foot variation
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village
to permit the construction of a Municipal Building addition
to the Village of Elk Grove Village on property located
at 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally
described on Exhibit A attached hereto.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
