HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1778 - 2/11/1986 - ZONING VARIATION/211 HARMONY LNORDINANCE NO. 1778 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SIDE AND REAR YARD VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PERMIT AN ABOVE GROUND SWIMMING POOL TO BE LOCATED IN THE REQUIRED REAR AND SIDE YARDS OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 211 HARMONY LANE ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BAYLIAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sec. 3.54D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit an above ground swimming pool to be located five (5') feet into the required eight (8') foot clearance from the side lot line, two (2') feet into the required eight (8') foot clearance from the rear lot line and four (4') feet from the required ten (101) foot easement to Mr. & Mrs. Jay L. Baylian for property located at 211 Harmony Lane, Elk Grove Village, and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DUPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 3.54D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit the existence of an above ground swimming pool in the required side and rear yards of property located at 211 Harmony Lane and legally described as follows: Lot 2897 in Elk Grove Village Section 9, being a subdivision in Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded July 1, 1960 as Document No. 17897670, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: NAYS: 0 f:1MIM�41A APPROVED: Charles J.
