AN ORDINANCE RENAMING NORTHWEST POINT ROAD TO NORTHWEST POINT BOULEVARD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That the name of the Road now known as Northwest Point Road
be and is hereby changed to Northwest Point Boulevard within the corporate
borders of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to send
written notice of the change of the name of said street by certified or
registered mail to all Election Authorities having jurisdiction in the area
in which the subject road now exists and United States Post Office Branch
serving the subject area.
Section 3: That the name change shall be effective June 20, 1985, which
date shall be more than thirty (30) days after the Election Authorities and
Post Office Branch referred to herein have been notified of the change of
name.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause the name
change provided for herein to be reflected on the Official Maps of the Village.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
