HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1718 - 5/14/1985 - RUPLEY SCHOOL/ACCEPT 3,000 FOOT EASEMENTORDINANCE NO. 1718 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A THREE THOUSAND (3,000) FOOT PERMANENT EASEMENT AT RUPLEY SCHOOL FROM SCHOOL DISTRICT 59 AND DECLARING A NECESSITY THEREFOR WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has requested that School District 59 grant the Village a Three Thousand (3,000) Foot Easement at Rupley School to provide for the operation and maintenance of traffic signal detectors and pavement markings at the East Drive of said School; and WHEREAS, the Trustees of the Community Consolidated School District No. 59 have, by Resolution duly adopted and approved, authorized the conveyance of said Easement to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, it is hereby declared to be necessary and convenient for the Village of Elk Grove Village to use the Easement for the purpose of traffic detection and pave- ment markings in order to operate a traffic control signal adjacent to Rupley School; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby authorized to accept the Permanent Easement from the Trustees of Community Consolidated School District No. 59, a copy of said Grant of Easement attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to record the Grant of Easement together with all necessary documentation legally necessary to effectuate conveyances between the School District and the Village. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles S.
