AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.1639
AMENDING THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT PREVIOUSLY GRANTED
TO SIXPENCE INNS TO PERMIT A ONE HUNDRED (100) ROOM
ADDITION TO THE EXISTING ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SIX (126) ROOM HOTEL
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees
pursuant to Ordinance No.1639 duly passed and approved
on the 24th day of April, 1984, did grant a Special Use
Permit to Sixpence Inns to permit the construction of
a one hundred twenty-six (126) room hotel on property legally
described therein; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has petitioned
the Village for an amendment to said Special Use Permit
to permit a one hundred (100) room addition to the hotel
facility; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk
Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held
according to law considered the question of amending said
Special Use Permit as requested; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed
the recommendation of said Plan Commission find and believe
it to be in the best interest of the Village that the Special
Use Permit be amended to permit the addition as requested.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Paragraph I. of Section 2 of Ordinance
No. 1639 be and the same is hereby amended by substituting

therefrom a revised Site Plan, which Site Plan includes
a one hundred (100) room addition to the existing one hundred
twenty-six (126) room hotel as depicted on the original
Site Plan. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 1639
not inconsistent with the provisions hereof and all varia-
tions, conditions and restrictions previously established
and contained on the previous Site Plan shall remain in
full force and effect other than that portion of the Site
Plan amended herein.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form, together with
all documents incorporated by reference herein.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication according to law.
