AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.1001, RESTRICTIONS
ON BOULEVARD TRAFFIC, AND SECTION 14.1004, PENALTY
OF CHAPTER 14, TRAFFIC, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 14.1001, Restrictions on Boulevard Traffic
of Chapter 14, Traffic, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk
Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended by changing the re-
strictions on boulevard traffic from Class "C" license plate or
greater to Class "D" license plate or greater and by amending the
Illinois Revised Statutes section from "1971" to Illinois Revised
Statutes, "1983".
Section 2. That Section 14.1004, Penalty, of Chapter 14, Traffic,
of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
14.1004 Penalty, any person, firm or corporation
who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects
or refuses to comply with or resists the
enforcement of any of the provisions of
this Article shall be subject to a fine
of not less than Twenty -Five ($25.00)
Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars for each offense; and each day a
violation continues to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 3. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
