AN ORDINANCE AME14DING ARTICLE IV, WATER
RATES AND ARTICLE VI, WATER AND SEWER
SERVICE TO PROPERTY NOT WITHIN THE VILLAGE
LIMITS OF CHAPTER 22A OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village have reviewed the Projection
Reports submitted by the Technical Consultants of the
Village with respect to the annual cost of supplying Lake
Michigan water to the residents of the Village; and
WHEREAS, after having reviewed said Reports, the
President and Board of Trustees find and believe it to be
necessary to increase the present commodity cost for water
to property located within and without the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, in the exercise of its Home
Rule authority, as follows:
Section 1: That Sec. 22A.402, Water Rates, be and the
same is hereby amended by substituting therein One and .20/100
($1.20) Dollar for the existing sixty-nine ($.69) cent commodity
cost for all meter sizes located within that section.
Section 2: That Sections 22A.601 and 22A.603 be and
the same is hereby amended by substituting therein a commodity
cost of One and .82/100 ($1.82) Dollar per 1,000 gallons for
the existing cost of One and .04/100 ($1.04) Dollar, for all
meter sizes located within those sections.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after June 1, 1984 pursuant to the vote
of the President and Board of Trustees on May 22, 1984.

ORDINANCE NO. 1652
An Ordinance Amending Article IV, Water Rates and Article
Vt, Water and Sewer Service to property not within the Village
Limits of Chapter 22A of the Municipal Code of the Village of
Elk Grove Village was duly adopted by the President and Board
of Trustees on June 26, 1984. Said Ordinance has been published
in Pamphlet Form pursuant to the authority of the President and
Board of Trustees, Village of Elk Grove Village,Cook and Du Page
Counties, Illinois. Copies are available at the Village Clerk's
Office, Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove
Village, Illinois.
