AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF TWO CANOPIES OVER THE EXISTING PUMP ISLAND
ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1295 ROHLWING ROAD,
ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MARATHON OIL COMPANY)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law considered the question
of granting a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance
to permit the construction of two canopies over an existing
pump island located within the required twenty-five (25') foot
front setback on property located at 1295 Rohlwing Road and
legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after
having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of
Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so
as to justify the granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 3.54
of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to structures in the
required twenty-five (251) foot front setback area to permit
the construction of two canopies over existing pump islands
on property located at 1295 Rohlwing Road and legally described
as follows:
Lot 1 in Marathon Subdivision being a Subdivision of part
of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 31, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian according
to the Plat thereof recorded April 4, 1978 as Document
No. 24399729 excepting therefrom that portion of public
roadway heretofore dedicated July 19-, 1976 as Document
No. 23563989 in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.

ORDINANCE NO. 1656
An Ordinance granting a Variation of the Zoning Ordinance to
Permit the Construction of Two Canopies over the existing pump
island on property located at 1295 Rohlwing Road, Elk Grove
Village (Marathon Oil Company) was duly adopted by the President
and Board of Trustees on July 10, 1984. Said Ordinance has been
published in Pamphlet Form pursuant to the authority of the
President and Board of Trustees, Village of Elk Grove Village,
Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois. Copies are available at the
Municipal Building, Village Clerk's Office, 901 Wellington Avenue,
Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
