HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1662 - 8/28/1984 - FINAL LAND USE & ZONING PLANORDINANCE NO. 1662 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL LAND USE AND ZONING PLAN FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES ZONED A-3 COMBINED MULTI -FAMILY RECREATIONAL DISTRICT (CENTEX HOMES MIDWEST, INC., SEC. 26) WHEREAS, Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., has filed an application with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village for approval of a Final Land Use and Zoning Plan for property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto pursuant to Sec. 5.37-5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the application for approval of the Final Land Use and Zoning Plan; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendations and findings of said Zoning Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village to approve the Final Land Use and Zoning Plan subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That approval is hereby given the Final Land Use and Zoning Plan of Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., for property located at the Northeast corner of University Lane and Plum Grove Road, Elk Grove Village, three (3) copies of which are on file in the Office of the Village Clerk, said Final Land Use and Zoning Plan being for property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto. Section 2: That the approval of the Final Land Use and Zoning Plan above described is subject to the following conditions: 1. Approval of a landscape plan covering the placement of plant materials in the vacinity of the dwelling units within the subject area. 2. Approval by the Village Engineer of all necessary Final Engineering Plans and Plats for the subject development. Section 3: That Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., be and is nereby granted a variation of Sec. 11.204A Driveways for Residential Property, which Section limits residential driveways to twenty feet (20') in width to permit driveway widths as set forth on the Final Land Use and Zoning Plan, copies of said Plan being on file in the Office of the Village Clerk. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
