HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1671 - 9/25/1984 - SPECIAL USE/SE CORNER PRATT & BUSSEORDINANCE NO. 1671 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT ORIGINALLY GRANTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1351 TO CHART HOUSE INC. TO PERMIT THE ADDITION OF A GREENHOUSE/SOLARIUM-TYPE BUILDING ADDITION AND ADDITIONAL PARKING ON PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT FEET (178') SOUTH OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PRATT BOULEVARD AND BUSSE ROAD WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village acting as a Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law to consider the question of granting an amendment to a Special Use Permit originally granted pursuant to Ordinance No. 1351 to permit the construction of an addition on property legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the Special Use Permit previously granted pursuant to Ordinance No. 1351 be amended pursuant to the Petition of Chart House Inc., in order to permit the construction of a Greenhouse/Solarium-type building addition, tnereby increasing the square footage of said building to tnree thousand -three hundred six square feet (.3,306'), and increasing the seating capacity from ninety-two (92) to one hundred eighteen (118) and in addition adding twenty-four (24) additional parking stalls for property located approximately one hundred seventy-eight feet (178') South of the Southeast corner of Pratt Boulvard and Busse Road and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in Resubdivision of Lot 2 in Hollander's Resubdivision, being a Resubdivision in Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian!in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That all prior conditions of said Special Use Permit except as modified herein shall remain in -full force and effect. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: ABSENT: p APPROVED: Charles J.
