AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC.
5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT PERTAINS TO STRUCTURES
LOCATED IN THE REQUIRED FRONT AND REAR YARD
AREAS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FAMILY
ROOM ADDITION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 500 MAGNOLIA
LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (NASH)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village
of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and
held according to law considered the question of granting
a variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains
to structures located in the required front and rear yard
areas for property located at 500 Magnolia Lane, Elk Grove
Village and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the
recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and
believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the
granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook
and DuPage Counties, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 5.1
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to Mr. & Mrs. James Nash,
to permit a three (3') foot encroachment into the twenty-five
(25') foot required front yard and a five foot six inch (5'6")
encroachment into the required twenty( 20') foot rear yard to
permit the construction of a family room addition on property
legally described as follows:
Lot 2543 in Elk Grove Village, Section 8, being
a subdivision in the South Half of Section 33,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
