AN ORDINANCE AME14DIlIG THE TITLE PAGE OF ARTICLE XXXVIII, PUBLIC
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS,MOTEL/MOTEL OCCUPATION TAX, AND SECTIONS
18.3806, TAX, AND 18.3808, ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT, OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the title page of Chapter 18, Article XXXVIII, Public
Sleeping Accommodations/Hotel/Motel Occupation Tax, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"HOTEL/MOTEL USE TAX"
Section 2: That the title "TAX", of Section 18.3806, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 18.3806 - "USE TAX"
Section 3: That Section 18.3808, Administration and Enforcement, be
and the same is hereby amended by amending the second paragraph by deleting
the word "OCCUPANCY" and adding (in its place) the word "USE"
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
