AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF
SECTION 5.1 OF THE 'ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT
APPLIES TO FRONT YARD SETBACK REQUIRE-
MENTS TO PERMIT THE PLACEMENT OF THE
SECOND FLOOR OF THE HOME RELATIVE TO THE
BUILDING LINE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1214 ROBIN DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
(REISER JR.)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sec.5.1
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village
to permit the placement of the second floor of the home relative
to the building line on property located at 1214 Robin Drive,
Elk Grove Village, Illinois and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings of said
Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship
exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 5.1,
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village
to U. S. Shelter, Inc. (owner of record) and Mr. & Mrs. Frank
J. Reiser, Jr., to permit the placement of the second floor
of the home relative to the building line on
the property located at 1214 Robin Drive, Elk Grove Village,
Illinois and legally described as follows:
Of Lot 182 in Parkview Heights Subdivision,
being a Subdivision in the Northeast Quarter
of Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof recorded April 12, 1978, as
Document Number 24399728 and Certificate of
Correction recorded, January 2, 1979, as Document
Number 24784941, and recorded May 7, 1979 as
Document Number 24949007, in Cook County,"
Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
