AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.1206
INSPECTIONS, EXAMINATIONS AND REVOCATIONS OF
ARTICLE XII DEALERS IN ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR OF
CHAPTER 18 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE THEREBY
INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF FINES WHICH MAY BE
IMPOSED BY THE LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a home
rule municipality as defined and set forth in the -Constitution
of the State of Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village in the .
exercise of its home rule authority may enact such Ordinances
pertaining to its local governmental affairs as are deemed
to be in the best interest of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by.the-President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Sec. 18.1206 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby
amended by substituting therein the following subparagraph
2. of said Section which subparagraph 2. shall read as follows:
2. if the Commissioner elects to fine such
Licensee, the amount of such fine shall not
be less than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars
nor more than One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars for each offense. In addition to
such fine the Commissioner is further
authorized to assess the Licensee for all
costs associated with the hearing including
attorney's fees and court reporter fees.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication according to law.

ORDINANCE NO. 1692
An Ordinance Amending Section 18.1206 Inspections, Examinations
and Revocations of Article XII Dealers in Alcoholic Liquor of
Chapter 18 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village thereby increasing the amount of fines which may be
imposed by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner was duly adopted
by the President and Board of Trustees on January 22, 1985. Said
Ordinance has been published in Pamphlet Form pursuant to the
authority of the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Elk
Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois. Copies are
available at the Village Clerk's Office, Municipal Building,
901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
