HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1695 - 2/12/1985 - REZONE PROPERTY/ARL HTS RD & BOARDWALKNO. 7695 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE FROM B-2 BUSINESS DISTRICT (GENERAL BUSINESS) TO B-3 BUSINESS DISTRICT (AUTOMOTIVE ORIENTED) (ARLINGTON HEIGHTS FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law to consider the question of rezoning property located at the Southwest corner of Arlington Heights Road and Boardwalk from B-2 Business District to B-3 Business District; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that the pr- operty be rezoned as requested; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the following property be and the same is hereby rezoned from B-2 Business District (General Business) to the B-3 Business District (Automotive Oriented): The South 185 feet of the East 236.0 feet of the North 15 acres of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That the rezoning as herein granted is subject to the following conditions: A) That the sole and exclusive use of the property as rezoned shall be for a banking facility with drive -up windows and that no other B-3 uses shall be permitted or allowed. Such restriction does not prohibit the owner from developing said property with B-1 or B-2 uses. B) If the property is utilized as a banking facility with drive -up windows, it must be devel- oped in general conformity with the Site Plan dated January 3, ""' a copy of which is on file in the Office of the Village Clerk, provided that if the Developer should increase the square footage of the building, such increase shall require an increase in the number of parking stalls so as to be in conformance with the applicable Village Code relating thereto. Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form and is further directed to amend the Zoning Map of the Village to reflect the rezoning as set forth herein. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica- tion according to law.
