AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 6, LIBRARY BOARD,
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Sec. 7.601 of Article 6, Library
Board, be and the same is hereby amended by increasing the
number of members from six (6) members to seven (7) members.
Section 2: That Sec. 7.604, Special Tax, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
7.604, Special Tax. The Special Library Tax
shall be levied and collected each year in
the manner provided by law.
Section 3: That Sec. 7.605, Reports, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
7.605, Reports. The Board of Library Directors
shall make a report of the financial condition
of the Library within fifteen (15) days after
the termination of the fiscal year of the
Village. This Report shall be filed with
the Board of Trustees and shall be made in
the manner provided by law. A copy of this
Report shall also be filed with the Illinois
State Library at the same time, as is also
provided by law. The Board shall also make
such other Reports as may be requested from
time to time by the Board of Trustees of the
Village.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
