AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
PERMIT TO CENTEX HOMES MIDWEST, INC.
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit
to Centex Midwest Homes, Inc. thereby permitting the development
of certain property presently zoned R-3 Residential under the
Special Use provisions of Sec. 5.25a of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendations
of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
Centex Homes Midwest, Inc. on property legally described on
Exhibit A attached hereto to permit the development of single
family detached units pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 5.25a
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That the Subdivision Control Ordinance of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended
to permit the following development within said Special Use area:
1. The local street right-of-way shall have a minimum
requirement of 50 feet.
2. The ends of all cul-de-sacs shall have a minimum radius
of 45 feet.
3. The location and number of street trees shall be as
approved by the Village but in no event shall the
number of said trees be less than the equivalent presently
required under the Subdivision Control Ordinance.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.

Cgmmencing at the South 1/4 corner of said Section 26; thence
N. 00 08' 50" W., along the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of said
Section 26, a di8tance. of 1708.55 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
continuing N. 00 08' 50" W, along the aforementioned line, a distance
of 790 feet; thence leaving said West line and running along the
