HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1609 - 12/13/1983 - CENTEX HOMES/REZONE-SPECIAL USEORDINANCE NO. 1609 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1601(GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO CENTEX HOMES MIDWEST, INC. REZONING 38.11 ACRES IN SECTION 23B FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL TO R-3 SPECIAL USE WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the ViIIdge of Eli. Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Plan Com- mission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that an amendment be made to Ordinance No. 1601, a Special Use Permit to Centex Homes Midwest, Inc. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1601 be amended to include the fol- lowing conditions: 1. That Gibson Drive be designated a residential collector street west of Vermont Drive, except that Gibson Drive need only a 60 foot right -of - say dedication west of New York Lane and a back of curb to back of curb pavement width of 38 feet; 2. That Julie Drive be designated a residential collector street; 3. That Centex Homes Midwest shall submit a land- scape plan to the Plan Commission for approval prior to the occupancy of any structure; 4. That Centex Homes Midwest shall submit a schematic housing plat plan prior to final plat approval. Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
