AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN AMENDED
SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO CENTEX HOMES
MIDWEST, INC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF WINSTON GROVE, SECTION 24, (HAMPTON
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, has conducted
public hearings duly called and held according to law to
consider the question of amending its Special Use Permit
for a Planned Unit Development previously granted by the
President and Board of Trustees to Centex Homes Midwest,
Inc. pursuant to Ordinance No. 1292 and as later amended by
Ordinance No. 1458 and 1498; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, after considering the recommenda-
tions of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in
the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit.
be further amended according to the recommendations of said
Plan Comission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1292 duly passed and
approved on the 10th day of April, 1979, as amended by
Ordinance Nos. 1458 and 1498 be and the same be further amended
by permitting an increase in the allowable dwelling units from
two hundred fifty-eight (258) units to two hundred sixty-two
(262) units.
Section 2: That all other provisions of Ordinance
Nos. 1292, 1458, and 1498 not inconsistent with the revisions
hereof or specifically repealed by the provisions hereof shall
remain in full force and effect.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law, and the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
