HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1614 - 1/10/1984 - ZONING VARIATION/777 & 825 NICHOLASORDINANCE NO. 1614 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC. 3.54 USES OF YARDS FOR STRUCTURES IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ALUMINUM WALKWAY COVER CONNECTING STRUCTURES LOCATED AT 777 NICHOLAS BLVD. AND 825 NICHOLAS BLVD. ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held considered the question of granting a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit the construction of an aluminum walkway cover to shelter the sidewalk connecting the structures at 777 Nicholas and 825 Nicholas Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said varia- tion; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to LaSalle National Bank as Trustee under Trust•No. 35252 and to Cosmopolitan National Bank of Chicago as Trustee under Trust No. 17922 to permit the construction of an aluminum walkway cover connecting the structures located at 777 Nicholas Boulevard and 825 Nicholas Boulevard, which properties are legally described as follows: 777 NICHOLAS BOULEVARD Lot 6 (except the North 70 feet of said Lot 6), Lot 7, Lot 8 and Lot 9 in Centex Industrial Park North, Unit 2, being a Subdivision in Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof registered in the office of the Registrar of Titles, Cook County, Illinois, December 20, 1965, Document No. 2247813. ' 825 NICHOLAS BOULEVARD Lot 10 in Centex Industrial Park North, Unit 2, being a Subdivision in. Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, and Lot 11 in Centex Industrial Park North Unit 3, being a Subdivision in Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That the variation granted herein is subject to the condition that if either building is sold, the aluminum walkway cover will be removed prior.to the sale and that this variation is being granted to the present Petitioners and shall not be deemed to run with the land. Section 3: That the Village Clerk is authorized to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form. - 2 - Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PUBLISHED this 18th day of January , 1984, in pamphlet form. - 3 - ORDINANCE NO. 1614 An Ordinance Granting a Variation of Section 3.54 Uses of Yards for Structures in all Zoning Districts of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit the construction of an aluminum walkway cover connecting structures located at 777 Nicholas Blvd. and 825 Nicholas Blvd. Elk Grove Village was duly adopted by the President and Board of Trustees on January 10, 1984. Said Ordinance has been published in Pamphlet Form pursuant to the authority of the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois. Copies are avail- able at the Village Clerk's Office, Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
