AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204,
ONE-WAY AND TWO-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS,
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BY PROVIDING STOP SIGNS ON NORTHWEST POINT
ROAD AND KING STREET
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, By the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.204, One -Way and Two -Way Stop Intersections,
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
A -
STOP STREET
Northwest Point Road
(NORTH entrance)
Northwest Point Road
(SOUTH entrance)
King Street
B
LOCATION
at Arlington Heights Road
at Arlington Heights Road
at Northwest Point Road
Section 2: That the Chief of Police or any person designated by him
or by the President and Board of Trustees shall post or cause to be posted
appropriate stop signs according to the provisions of this ordinance.
Section•3: That any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $10.00, nor more than $200.00
for each offense.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
