HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1628 - 3/27/1984 - ANNEXING PROPERTY/MOENCHORDINANCE NO. 1528 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MOENCH) WHEREAS., a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Erna Moench, being the record owner of the hereinafter described land and territory, said petition seeking annexa- tion to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and WHEREAS, any fire protection district, library district, township road commissioner, or other entity or person entitled to notice prior to annexa- tion of the subject property has been given such notice and is required by law; and WHEREAS, all statutory requirements in reference to the annexation have been fully complied with and the Village President and Board of Trustees believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as follows: Section is That the following land and territory, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and not within the limits of any other municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that said territory be included within the boundary limits of said Village as is by law in such case made and provided: That part of the North East of the North East 4 of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range it East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the North East corner of Lot 31 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 6, being a subdivision in Sections 26 and 35, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, thence South 481.42 feet, more or less, along the East line of Lot 31 to the North line of Lot 30 in said Centex Industrial Park Unit 6 (said East line of Lot 31 being a line parallel to and 254 feet and 44 inches West of the center of Elmhurst Road); thence East along said North line of Lot 30, 204.35 feet, more of less, to a point 50 feet West of the East line of said Section 35 (said North line of Lot 30 being a line parallel to and 172 feet and 7 inches North of the South line of the North East k of the North East 4 of Section 35); thence North parallel to the East line of sa.id Section. 35, 481.42 feet, more or less to the South line of Estes Avenue; thence West along the South line of Estes Avenue, 204.35 feet, more or less to the place of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That all requisite fees due upon annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village have been paid. Section 3: That said property shall be zoned 1-2, Industrial, which zoning is the classification described to the subject property on the official map of the Village. Section 4: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with a plat of said territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 5: That the petitioner shall reimburse the Village of Elk Grove Village for all cost attributable for the recordation of documents with the Cook County Recorder's Office and the publishing of all required legal notices and ordinances. Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 27th day of March , 1984.
