AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE VI, LIBRARY BOARD
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BY INCREASING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LIBRARY BOARD FROM 6
MEMBERS TO 7 MEMBERS
NOW, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and'Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That Section 7.601, Election of Members, of the Municipal
Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
7.601 Election of Members. There shall be elected
a library board of directors consisting of
7 members who shall serve for six (6) years
as is provided by Statute. (Chapter 81 -
Libraries; Article 2, Method of Creation;
Section 2-2. Elections for establishment
and maintenance in towns, villages or
townships.)
Section 2! That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
