HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1552 - 12/14/1982 - ONE/TWO/THREE & FOUR-WAY INTERSECTIONSORDINANCE NO. 1552 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE II, SECTION 14.203;- THREE-WAY 4.203.THREE-WAY AND FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS; SECTION 14.204, ONE- WAY AND TWO-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS; AND SECTION 14.205, YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY INTERSECTIONS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE NOW, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: SECTION 1: That vection 14.203, Three-way and Fou --way Stop Inter- sections,of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: C. All traffic shall stop before entering in or across the following intersection: 32. Cutter Lane and Longboat Drive. SECTION 2: That Section 14.204, One-way and Two-way Stop Intersections, of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: A. STOP STREETS Hawk Lane Hawk Lane Bluejay Circle Galleon Lane Cardinal Lane Oriole Drive B. LOCATION at Oriole Drive at Galleon Lane at Oriole Drive at Cutter Lane at Cutter Lane at Galleon Lane SECTION 3: That Section 14.205, Yield Right -of -Way Intersections, of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: COLUMN "A" COLUMN "B" Cardinal Lane (southbound) at Galleon Lane Schooner Lane (westbound) at Cutter Lane SECTION 4: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense. SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. rr1111*1 l PASSED this 14th day of Decemher 1982.
