AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II, SECTION 17.202, LICENSE
APPLICATIONS AND FEES; AND SECTION 17.204, INNOCULATION
REQUIRED, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE AS IT PERTAINS TO PETS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, as follows:
Section 1: That Article II, Section 17.202, License Applications and
Fees, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
same is hereby amended by amending the first paragraph to read as follows:
17.202 License Applications and Fees. Application
for dog and cat licenses shall be made to
the Finance Department. At the time of such
application, the owner shall furnish the
Finance Department with the following infor-
mation:
1. The name and address and phone
number of the owner of the dog
and/or cat.
2. The sex and breed of the dog
and/or cat.
3• The rabies tag number.
Section 2: That Article 11, Section 17.204, Innoculation Required, of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:

B. All dogs and/or cats four (4) months
of age and older shall be innoculated
against rabies with an approved rabies
vaccine.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of
this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars
nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each offense. A separate
offense shall be deemed committed on each day during, on, or which a
violation occurs or continues.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
