AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 (LANE DESIGNATION)
OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE - THE TERRACE APARTMENT
COMPLEX - WASHINGTON SQUARE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois.
Section 1: That Section 23.903 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, which provides for certain areas located in the
Village to be designated "Fire Lanes" and making it unlawful for any person
to block or obstruct wholly or partly and such designated area, be amended
by adding thereto the following:
F. The Terrace Apartment Complex:
Delete Washington Square from Ordinance
No. 824.
All areas designated as Fire Lanes on a
map entitled, "Washington Square Condominium
Area" which map is incorporated by reference
as a part of Ordinance No. 1572.
Section 2: That owner or owners of the property where the above signs
are to be located are hereby directed to install and maintain said signs
subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department of the Village
of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
