AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 OF ARTICLE XI
(FIRE LANES) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY ADDING DESIGNATED FIRE'
LANES FOR THE EAGLES APARTMENTS (EAGLES ON TONNE)
WHEREAS, the owner and Bren Crest Industries Inc., being
managing agents of certain property located at 480 Eagle Drive in Elk
Grove Village, Illinois have requested of the Village in writing that
certain areas within their property be designated as fire lanes. A
copy of said request being attached hereto and incorporated herein as
exhibit "A" of this Ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DUPage, Illinois.
SECTION 1: That Section 23.903, Lane Designations, of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
W. Eagles Apartments (Eagles On Tonne) all areas designated
as fire lanes on a map entitled, Eagles Apartments (Eagles On Tonne)
which map is incorporated by reference as a part of Ordinance 1573
SECTION 2: That owner or owners of the property where the
above signs are to be located are hereby directed to install and
maintain said signs subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire
Department of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than ten ($10.00) dollars nor more than two hundred ($200.00) dollars
for each offense.
SECTION 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force an
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
Vote: AYES 6 NAYS 0 ABSENT 0
