AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.96E(7)
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO THE
REQUIRED AMOUNT OF PARKING AND STACKING
SPACES FOR NURSERY SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held concerning
the question of amending Sec. 3.96E(7) of the Zoning
Ordinance, which Section pertains to the Required Parking
and Stacking Spaces for Nursery Schools; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the
recommendation of said Plan Commission find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that said Section
be amended pursuant to the recommendations of the Plan
Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Sec. 3.96E(7) of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(7) Nursery School. Five (5) parking spaces shall
be provided, plus one (1) parking space for
each employee on duty at any one time, and
one (1) stacking space or parking space for
each ten (10) children based on maximum licensed
capacity; however, a minimum of six (6) stacking
spaces shall be provided.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
