AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RATES FOR FIRE AND
AMBULANCE SERVICE OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE LIMITS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 6.401 Territory and Rates of Article IV,
Fire and Ambulance Service Outside the Village Limits, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
1. That the rates for ambulance service charged to individuals,
firms or corporations who have not contracted for fire and ambulance
service be amended from Seventy -Eight Dollars ($78.00) per call to
One Hundred Two Dollars ($102.00) per call.
2. That the rates for vehicles containing fire -fighting apparatus,
exclusive of automobiles be amended from One Hundred Fifty -Seven Dollars
($157.00) per vehicle per call to Two Hundred Four Dollars ($204.00) per
vehicle per call.
3• That the rate for fire and ambulance service to trailer homes
be amended from Twenty -Nine Dollars ($29.00) per trailer per year to
Thirty -Eight Dollars ($38.00) per trailer per year.
4. That the rate for fire and ambulance service for Home Owner
Associations and Fire District Areas be amended from Sixty -Five Dollars
($65.00) per year per home to Eighty -Five Dollars ($85.00) per year per
home.
5. That the rate for individual home owners for fire and ambulance
service be amended from Sixty -Five Dollars ($65.00) per home per year to
Eighty -Five Dollars ($85.00) per home per year.
6. That the rate for fire and ambulance service for commercial
or industrial structures shall be Eighty -Five Dollars ($85.00) per
major or principal structure as determined by the Fire Chief.
SECTION 2. That the remaining Sections of Article IV of Chapter
VI pertaining to Fire and Ambulance Service Outside the Village Limits
shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
