AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FIVE FOOT
(5') SIDE YARD VARIATION TO ETTA AND
JACK LEWIN TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A DECK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
787 BLUE JAY CIRCLE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at a public hearing duly held and called
according to law considered the question of granting a
variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Elk Grove Village as said Section relates to the location
of structures in a required side yard area; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the
recommendation and findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals
find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to
warrant the granting of a five (5') foot variation from the
side yard requirements of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, -by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a five (5') foot
variation of the side yard requirements of Sec. 5.1 of the
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to
Etta and Jack Lewin to permit the construction of a deck
on property located at 787 Blue Jay Circle, Elk Grove Village
and legally described as follows:
Lot 355 in Stape's Subdivision, being a
subdivision of part of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10,
East of the*Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
