AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF
SEC. 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS
IT RELATES TO MINIMUM FOOTAGE FOR
LOTS AND MINIMUM LOT WIDTH
(WINDOW SYSTEMS, INC.)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law considered the question
of granting a variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance
as it pertains to minimum lot areas and minimum lot width
to Window Systems, Inc., on property within the Village of
Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the
recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and
believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant
the granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of
Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as same relates to minimum
footage for lots and minimum front yard width for lots in
the I-2 Industrial District to Window Systems, Inc. in order
to permit the establishment of three (3) lots under the
required twenty thousand square foot minimum and for one of
said lots to have a front width less than the required one
hundred foot minimum on property located within the Village
of Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows:
Lot 3 in De Vac Subdivision, being a Subdivision
of part of Brickvale Subdivision in Section 2,
Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois.
(Part of said De Vac Subdivision recorded
March 16, 1970 as Document R70-7740)
Section That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
