HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1591 - 8/23/1983 - FINAL LAND USE & ZONING MAPORDINANCE NO. 1591 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL LAND USE AND ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES ZONED A-3 COMBINED MULTI -FAMILY RECREATIONAL DISTRICT (CENTEX HOMES MIDWEST, INC.) WHEREAS, Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., has filed an application with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village for approval of a Final Land Use and Zoning Map for property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto pursuant to Sec. 5.37-5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the application for approval of the Final Land Use and Zoning Map; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendations and findings of said Zoning Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village to approve the Final Land Use and Zoning Map subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That approval is hereby given the Final Land Use and Zoning Map of Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., for property located at the Southeast corner of University Lane (extended in Plum Grove Road, Elk Grove Village) three (3) copies of which are on file in the Office of the Village Clerk, said Final Land Use and Zoning Map being for property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto. Section 2: That the approval of the Final Land Use and Zoning Map above described is subject to the following conditions: 1. That the landscape plan submitted by Centex Homes covering placement of plant materials in the vicinity of dwelling units within the subject area be approved conditioned upon: a) The addition of notes concerning the type of grass seed and fertilizer to be used in the area, as recommended by the Foreman of Land and Forestry; and b) The addition of a note specifying that one (1) tree, meeting Village parkway tree standards, be added to both the east side and west side of Building No. 17, as depicted on the Final Land Use and Zoning Map. 2. That the Final Land Use and Zoning Map be approved subject to receipt of verification from the Village Engineer that all necessary final engineering plans and plats for this develop- ment have been approved. 3. That the Village President and Board of Trustees authorize Centex Homes Midwest, Inc. to not connect University Lane at Plum Grove Road until such time that the Village determines a connection to be necessary. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
